Over many years, the American government has shown its willingness in reducing disease by allocating more than sufficient amount of money in the medical field in the treatment of the disease which has always been a positive step to take.
With the growing need to reduce non-communicable diseases, there is a need for more reforms in health financing- more money should be allocated in the prevention of disease. By the way, this is not to mean that treatment of disease has less to offer but it is because of the complexity of treating these non-communicable diseases and the high cost associated with its management.
Last year the Senate failed to come up with a healthcare reform to address this financing factor. As a right of achieving quality care as enshrined in the constitution, you should talk to your leader(s) to consider this health reform because it could be a huge step in achieving quality care in America.
